The second West Tower Build Out was an emergency response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Broadmoor overcame the logistical challenges of working above the occupied ICU levels, maintaining the ambulatory access road, and protecting the health of our team, patients, and hospital staff. Broadmoor created a three-floor construction plan and a 24-hour construction schedule in seven days. Value Engineering prioritized safety and phasing; experience from the initial West Tower Expansion (2019) guided preconstruction and operational efforts. Our team pushed through constant uncertainty to provide the community with imperative resources.
