New Orleans International Airport East Garage

Project Description

Client: New Orleans International Airport
Location: Kenner, LA
Architect: Atkins
Completed: November 2019

The Project

The new Terminal C at the New Orleans International Airport required a new garage to accommodate the influx of passengers navigating the new airport. This CMAR project consists of a 1,028,000 square foot, seven story garage, and an adjacent 3,000 square foot administration building. Additional project scope includes service and access roads, steel canopies, a connecting surface parking lot at ground level, and an extensive landscaping package including green screens and planters at each level. As the project was a true CM@R, Broadmoor was able to provide feedback on value engineering solutions, including exploring cost-savings comparisons between cast-in-place concrete and precast concrete.

Additionally, Broadmoor is proud of our engagement of the DBE community for this project, as we were able to exceed our original goal of 35% DBE participation.
