Broadmoor provided the construction services for the massive foundations and superstructure for
the new Harrah’s Poydras Street Hotel high-rise tower, the first high rise to
be built from the ground up in over 25 years. This project required all-night concrete
pours that saw cement trucks lined up around
several blocks per night for the massive foundations of the downtown
structure over several weeks.
The 130,000 square feet of GRFC cladding was by constructed by Broadmoor in a
design-build contract. Our-in-house
architects worked with the manufacturer
to design a unique installation process
as a value engineering alternative.
